Attitude Determines Altitude

by Jack Manor

Thought: Let Christ renew your attitude daily? Attitude determines output. If we think good thoughts, we'll do good things. If we think bad thoughts, we'll do bad things.

Verse: Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. . . . Thus, by their fruit you will recognized them" (Matthew 7:16-18, 20).

Quote: "Next to our free salvation in Christ, our attitude is the most important thing we possess. Attitude is more important than circumstances, the past, money, successes, failures, our gifts, other's opinions, even the 'facts.' We all have a choice every day regarding the attitude with which we will embrace the day. It is up to us to make a positive volitional choice. A positive attitude, . . . is a solid step toward success." -- Kent Hughes
