“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you” (Jer. 1:5).
The textbook definition of a word that has no meaning is “nonsense.” Such is the word transgender. The prefix “trans” means across. The definition of gender is the male or female sex. So the definition of transgender would be to “cross sexes.” It is, therefore, nonsense. In the nucleus of cells in human beings, the DNA molecule is packaged into thread-like structures called chromosomes. Cells contains 23 pairs of chromosomes, for a total of 46. Twenty-two of these pairs, called autosomes, look the same in both males and females. The 23rd pair, the sex chromosomes, differs in males and females. Females have two X chromosomes, and males have one X and one Y chromosome.
This means that people are either male or female at a cellular level at birth. So no amount of hormone therapy can change the sex of a person. Likewise, surgically removing a woman’s breasts cannot make her a male and surgically removing a man’s penis, scrotum, and testicles cannot make him a woman. Moreover, dressing like the opposite sex and demanding to be referred to by “the other” pronoun cannot and will not make a person the opposite sex.
It is God who determines the gender of human beings when HE creates them. The Bible says, “You [God] created my innermost parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, because I am awesomely and wonderfully made” (Ps. 139:13-14). God said to Jeremiah, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you” (Jer. 1:5). In the opening book of the Bible, we find the definitive truth: “God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them….He created them male and female, and He blessed them and named them 'mankind' on the day when they were created” (Gen. 1:27; 5:2).
It’s time we stand for the TRUTH, and call every leftist, propagandist, evil, ungodly, foolish, asinine attempt at social engineering what it is—a selfish crack at gaining power and control, an assault on the sovereign authority of God as Creator, an arrogant attempt to displace God as Ruler over HIS creation, and a useless effort to avoid accountability to God now and on Judgment Day. Furthermore, when this social engineering is done to a child by an adult, it is one of the most wicked forms of physical assault and child abuse and, therefore, deserves to be punished. God described these tyrannical usurpers perfectly in Romans 1:22 when HE said, “Claiming to be wise, they became fools.”
People who have genuine confusion over gender need to be set free from that bondage by the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ. They do not need gender therapies and surgeries that do irreparable damage to their bodies, minds, and spirits. They need wise, compassionate counseling that introduces them to God who created them, affirms them as incredible and magnificent creations, and allows them time to accept and embrace their biological gender. They need to know they were created in the image of God. They need to be told over and over by people who have no secret agenda that they are beautiful just the way God made them. These creations of God need the truth instead of smooth lies aimed to deceive and socially engineer an outcome that enriches and empowers certain arrogant, selfish bureaucrats and health professionals. Let’s get back to the Bible.
